More women on the board in broadcast industry

Women wanting to make it onto the board stand a better chance in the broadcast industry than in any other.  The industry has double the national average of women at board level, according to new statistics released by the sector watchdog.

A quarter of board members are female, compared to the national average of 12 per cent for FTSE-100 companies, said the Broadcast Equality and Training Regulator (BETR).
